Specifying points on drawing
Friday, 13 March 2009 14:46

ShortCAD requires user to enter coordinates when a drawing of modifying command is launched. For example, drawing straight lines user will have to specify at least Start point and End point of first created line.

The simplest way to specify a point is to tap its location on the drawing area using stylus. Tap pen down and move it carefully to the point, you want to specify; then lift the pen to have the point finally entered. To check if you move the pen to a correct location, see the tracking crosshair on the drawing area:

Another way of specifying a point is using the arrow keys of joystick of your mobile device and the ENTER key:

Using the arrow keys move the crosshair cursor on the drawing area to the location of the point and press ENTER (central button of joystick) to have the point finally specified.
