You can place any number of copies of any ShortCAD Drawing into the currently opened drawing. Such way, any ShortCAD Drawing may serve as many times used Drawing Symbol (or ShortCAD Instertion Block).

The common principle of ShortCAD Library and Symbols names interpretation is following:

ShortCAD allows considering any file folder as a Drawing Symbol Library or a Collection of the Drawing Symbol Libraries. For example, on a Storage Card of your device, you can create the folder 'Furniture', in which you will collect several libraries (folders) like 'Chairs', 'Tables', 'Beds', and so on.

In the root folder of a Collection of the Drawing Symbol Libraries, you can store the symbols, which are considered as something general in relation to the collected libraries.

In case, when you need to insert an ordinary ShortCAD Drawing, you can simply navigate to its location and select it like if it was a Drawing Symbol.

Once having created the folder tree to collect the libraries of Drawing Symbols, you can use ShortCAD to save ShortCAD Drawings as Drawing Symbols, open Drawing Symbols to edit, delete Drawing Symbols, rename Drawing Symbols.
